Forklift Operator Training (Canada)
The Forklift Certification Online Training was designed in accordance with the CSA B335-15 Safety Standard for Forklifts. This means that the program is modern, up-to-date, compliant and will help you meet your legislative obligation to provide your operators with up-to-date and effective operator certification training.
Compliant. Modern. Engaging.
Our modern, up-to-date forklift operator training course meets general training requirements in accordance with the CSA B335-15 safety standard for forklifts and provides the information your operators need to stay safe. The course is designed to provide an interactive and streamlined user experience with no superfluous content or filler. Your operators will really appreciate this training!
Forklift Standards and Legislation
The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) each have a standard that outlines many guidelines and recommendations for forklifts. Among these are very specific requirements for the training of forklift operators.
Our forklift certification training has been carefully designed to meet and even exceed the training requirements outlined in each of these standards.
Since employers are required to comply with these standards (OSHA and ANSI in the US and CSA in Canada), training and certifications that have been aligned with them will be considered more valuable than those that have not.
Practical Training Component
It is important to note that to fully meet the requirements of the standards, specific workplace and equipment training must be completed by the employer, as well as a practical evaluation. These on-the-job training components cannot be supplemented by any third-party provider, whether offering online or live training. This is because every workplace is different and presents unique risks. An employer is in the best position to train workers on these unique circumstances that exist in their workplace and on their specific equipment.
